Mojave Point, Grand Canyon, AZ

Blue hour on my first evening in the canyon. I'd waited all day at Mojave Point for exactly this light - and then the last shuttle honked for me. I fired the shutter, ran over to ask the driver for two minutes to pack, and grabbed a few more frames while I had them. Each was an 8-second exposure at f/11, so every shot felt like forever in the fading light. I had no idea I'd just made one of my favorite Grand Canyon photographs.
