Clouds Rest, Yosemite National Park, California

Half Dome going silver in the evening haze, from the descent off Clouds Rest on our second-to-last day. The haze flattened every color to pastel, so I let the frame be about tone instead — bracketed, blended, and finished in black and white, the dome as a shape among receding shapes. After 230 miles the legs were spent, but light like this cancels fatigue for exactly as long as it lasts.
