Nevada Fall in March seen looking downstream, heavy current below low cloud on the canyon walls, Yosemite National Park.

Untamed

Nevada Fall, Yosemite National Park, California

Shot looking downstream from Nevada Fall rather than up at it — the less obvious direction, and the more violent one. The current in March is genuinely aggressive, and the cloud was sitting low enough on the walls to close the frame in on itself. I wanted this to feel untamed rather than scenic, so nothing here is soft: no clean horizon, no tidy light.
